Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbHmay receive requests from physicians or institutions for assistance in the form of free product or funding for clinical or basic research. Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbHis not the sponsor of these studies and they are not affiliated with our own clinical development programs. We believe, however, that investigator-initiated research can produce important contributions regarding Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbH's products or therapeutic areas of interest to the company. Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbHonly provides grants for research where the research is intended to address a bona fide scientific question in an area of interest to the company.

Please be sure to include the following information:
- A cover letter on the official letterhead of the requesting Organization or proposal requesting the charitable contribution
- The name and contact information of a primary contact for the Organization
- The Organization’s W-9 form or equivalent proof that the organization maintains not-for-profit status under the laws of the country in which it is registered/chartered
- A detailed description of the contribution being requested, including the dollar amount or product requested, the nature of the program or event, timing, and any other information that could be useful in deciding whether to fund the request
